1960s White Ribbon Lace Sheath Wedding Gown

So you're not the kind of gal who goes all ga-ga over the big, frothy meringue type gowns, huh?  You can still slate your thirst for lace without feeling overwhelmed, or worse - overshadowed - by yards of lace,  when the gown bearing it has a classic cut and a slim line.  A nude illusion layer highlights the floral patterned ribbon lace embroidered over chantilly lace.  This simple yet elegant gown has a close-fitting, sleeveless bodice with a modified empire waistline. The modestly cut, scalloped vee neckline, has ribbon trimming that reminds us of piped icing on a wedding cake. The skirt is gently gathered into the waist seam, and then falls in a modified, close cut A-line to the feet. Back zipper closure. We like this with a lace skull cap headpiece sans veil. Could conceivably be shortened and worn a la Ali, below. Measures 34" at the bust, 31" at the modified empire waist, 43" at the hip, 15" shoulder to shoulder, and 52" long with about 1 1/2" to let out at the hem  Bearing a Bullocks Wilshire label, it is in excellent condition.  $325
