For the bride who understands that bigger is not always better, we offer this classic sheath style in ivory lace. Now, we aren't wedding consultants by a long shot, but we've watched enough episodes of 'Bridezillas' to realize that when it actually comes time to say 'I do', sometimes the big 'ol meringue wedding dress you have dreamed of wearing since girlhood is not necessarily the best choice. And that's where the sheath style wedding gown steps in. Around since medieval times, the sheath is streamlined and classically elegant and a nice alternative to all that froth and frou-frou. But that's not to say that you can't have your lace and wear it too. This gown is an off white long sleeved strapless style with an off the shoulder overdress of off-white Alençon lace. It features a slightly dropped waist and wedding point at the end of the satin covered buttoned sleeve, it has a zippered closure and a 15" center vent in back. Bust 33", waist 24", hip 36", inner sleeve 15" with point extending an additional 3" on outer sleeve, sleeve diameter at biceps is about 10", length 58". Bearing a Cahill Ltd. of Beverly Hills boutique label, we found one tiny discolored spot on the front of the dress at about lower thigh level, otherwise in excellent condition. And if you still want some froth, this would look fabulous with a headpiece of yards and yards of tulle.sold
