Classic and elegantly styled, this sheath is the Little Black Dress in creamy ivory. Streamlined and svelte, the sheath silhouette seems revealing even though the body is completely covered - and thus the allure. We don't know, but there seems to be something so 'not right' about a bride in virginal white spilling out of the top of her wedding gown. In a floral jacquard, it has a Sabrina or bateau neckline that dips down in back, a natural waist with an eased skirt, a zipper closure in the back and a 9" slit at the left hem. The hip length jacket has a wide portrait collar, with a faux button front featuring three oversized thread embellished knotted buttons over covered snap closures on the placket, welted pockets at the waist, and three-quarter length sleeves. Made by Mari for I.Magnin, the sheath is a somewhat less traditional look than the ball gown silhouette, but slip on a pair of white kid gloves and we're talking instant glamour. Bust 35.5", waist 25", hip 38", length 52.5" Jacket: Bust 40", waist 36", sleeve 17", length 17". Both pieces are in excellent condition. $335
