1970s Brown Corduroy Skirt Suit

You can thank Gwen Stefani for making yodeling sexy like no one else could. And though we unsung (or un singing) mortals may not have the vocal capacity for actually getting it right, we can give a nod and a wink in this brown corduroy ensemble by Lanz.  Consisting of a dirndl skirt and a waist length open jacket, it has a subtle Tyrolean vibe to it, but comes off looking more Yves Saint Laurent than 'Heidi'.  The jacket is fully lined and has a pleated pouf shoulder, a stand up collar, and is trimmed in embroidered tape.  The skirt is unlined, with hidden inseam hip pockets, a back zipper closure, and the whole thing is pulled together with the matching belt, trimmed in the same embroidered tape as the jacket, that ties at the waist. Jacket measures:  Bust 34", (though the open styling would accommodate a slightly larger bust), shoulder 14", sleeve 22.5", length 17.5"; Skirt: waist 27", length 26". All three pieces are in excellent condition.$95
