1960s Black Wool Knit Skirt Suit

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You already know we have a predilection for knit suits, most notably those of Italian descent.  However, just to prove we aren't entirely prejudiced, we are giving it up for this cute little knit number from Butte Knit, which hails from the good 'ol U.S. of A.  In a black wool double knit, the jacket buttons up the front and features an attached scarf collar which ties at the breast bone. Very girly.  The sleeves end in a buttoned barrel cuff. The skirt is a no waistband style with a back zip closure. Both pieces are unlined, so this is perfect over that lacy black silk full slip you've been dying to wear. With the exception of a pinhole at the back collar, it's in excellent condition.  Jacket measures  bust 36", shoulder 15.5", sleeve 22.5", length 20".
