1960s I. Magnin Pink and Plum Tweed Skirt Suit

Very 'My Girl Friday' in demeanor, this luscious skirt suit is cut in a beige, pink, violet and charcoal wool tweed.  Featuring a boxy cut single breasted jacket , and a pencil skirt with a size zip closure, the jacket has faux flap pockets at the hip and closes with three textured buttons that literally look like gumballs that have had the color sucked off them - could be provocative. Both pieces are lined in a geranium pink silk crepe, and are in excellent condition.  Jacket measures:  Bust 39", shoulder 16", sleeve 23", length 22"; Skirt: waist 29", hip 40", length 25".
