1960s Mustard Yellow Italian Knit 3 Pc. Suit

The notion that Italians have a unique appreciation for the female form may be an old stereotype, but when you consider that Italy can claim talent from Sandro Botticelli to Gianni Versace, we have to believe it's true. Another boast Italy can make is that they have long been producers of some of the finest knits in the world. It must be instinctive, or maybe genetic, that Italians  know what a good thing it is to behold a woman in a seductive knit. Aside from the fact that this suit consists of three pieces - a skirt, a jacket and a shell - one of the great things about it is that the knit is substantial, so the hand and drape are super flattering, and the mustard yellow color is a natural for brown accessories - try a wide belt at the waist and tall stiletto boots. The skirt is slim and straight, with a side zipper closure, and the top has an abbreviated short dolman sleeve and a zipper in back, and the jacket is cut long and lean, with four gold rimmed knit buttons securing the front. All measurements are flat, unstretched: Jacket measures:  bust 34", hip 35", shoulder 14.5", sleeve 21.5", length 28"; Skirt: waist 25", hip 33", length 26"; Top: bust 35", length 22".  Knit in Italy Expressly for Bullocks, all three pieces are in excellent condition.$165
