1970s Pierre Cardin Wool Suit

Cut from a beautiful lightweight woven wool in ivory and tan, the fabric of this suit has a very supple hand that drapes beautifully on the body.  Hip length jacket has a three button closure, with slashed welt pockets at either front waist and a faux welt pocket at the breast. The waist has a buttoned tab at either side that gently shapes the boxy cut, and the tab repeats at the sleeve cuff to gently ease that in as well.  The skirt is straight, with a gather over either front hip, an 11" split at the center back of the hem and those buttoned tabs again, at the side waist. Both pieces are fully lined, and in excellent condition.  Jacket measures: Bust 36", waist 34", hip 36", shoulder 15.5", sleeve 22", length 21.5". Skirt: Waist 28", hip 36", length 28".  $335
