We think the pantsuit may be the ultimate symbol of women's liberation. What would we do if we couldn't camoflauge unshorn legs or were made to suffer the embarrassment of forgetting to sit with your knees together. Paisley printed velveteen in brown, ivory, tan, teal, rust and black pattern gives this pantsuit a Swinging Sixties vibe, but the cut is pure Seventies. The cropped jacket buttons up the front, with a puffed sleeve with a buttoned cuff and a modified peplum waist. The pants are flat front with a stovepipe leg and a high waist with a 2" wide waist band. Bust 36", waist 30", shoulder 15", sleeve 25", length 19.5". Pants: waist 25",hip 36", rise 15", inseam 27.5". Made by Patty Woodward, the jacket is lined, the pants unlined and both pieces are in excellent condition. $140
