1960s Yellow Wool Knit Suit

There's nothing like a little sunshine to brighten your day, and this is just the suit to do it. In a sunny lemon yellow wool double knit, the jacket has a slightly longer line, single breasted with four self covered buttons and a faux pocket flap at each hip.  The skirt is straight with a side zip closure and a bar hook on the waistband.  The front bodice of the jacket is textured with horizontal ribbing, the sleeve and back being a flat weave, as is the skirt. Flat, unstretched measurements are: Jacket 38", waist 37", hip 38", shoulder 16", sleeve 20.5", length 28". Skirt waist 28", hip 36", length 21.5". Made in the Crown Colony of Hong Kong by Diamonte, both pieces are in excellent condition. $140
