1980s Bill Blass Brown Tweed Suit

A classic preppie wool tweed hacking style, this suit clearly demonstrates Blass' love of the dignified country look. In a brown, greige and ivory flecked fabric, the full, unlined skirt has double pleats and an inverted center pleat with a hidden zipper, and is made to look like a riding skirt. Flat waistband has hooks for closures, belt loops, inseam side pockets and falls to about mid-calf. The slim cut jacket is a modified hacking-style.  Lined, with princess seaming, patch pockets at the hip and left breast, three woven leather buttons down the front, and a sleeve that ends in a buttoned cuff. Perfect paired with riding boots and a wool challis blouse, its just the suit to wear for that weekend at the country house. Made for the Blassport line, it allso carries an I.
