1970s Rust Tweed Wool Suit

From the era of 9 to 5 , a fine example of the power suit before they became POWER SUITS. In a heathered rust wool herringbone, the slim cut jacket is single breasted with a two button closure, and enormous patch pockets at the hip balancing the enormous lapel at the neck, and a vented back.  The skirt is slim, slightly A-line, with an offset back zipper invisibly set in the seam  and welted pockets set in the seams over the hip bones - very nifty.  Both the jacket and the skirt are lined. Just add a silk blouse with a pussycat bow at the neck and a pair of cognac leather boots and you're good to go. The jacket measures:  Bust 32", waist 30", shoulder 14.5", sleeve 23", length 26".  The skirt measures waist 23", hip 36", length 28".  Made in France by Pierre & Phillippe, both pieces are in excellent condition.$265
