1970s Evins Copper Embroidered Halter Slingback

The trouble with many modern shoes is that, gorgeous as they are, who the heck can actually walk in those skinny little heels? That's one of the things we love about shoes from the 1970s like this one - the heel is a little more substantial, so you’re not teetering around on a pair of chopstick heels. Second, the metallic copper leather is a really versatile and unexpected metallic, and unlike silver or gold, doesn’t come off so Las Vegas-y. Third, the clear vinyl vamp is embroidered with copper flowers – flattering and very girly. Made by Evins, they are in excellent condition. Measuring 8.75” long and 3.25” wide, they look to be about a modern size 7.5 with a 4” heel. $90
