60s Brown Patent Leather Mod Short Boots

The story of my life is stumbling across something really fabulous and cursing the rest of the day because its not my size. I actually tried to stuff my size 9 foot into these boots, because well you never know, and these would actually be worth the agony of wearing a size smaller, they are that great. With an incredibly mod profile, these boots sport zippers on either side of the vamp, stitching that continunes on down the length of the toe, and a stitched band at the top of the shaft that wraps around the cuff and snaps at the outside of the boot. Has a chunky 2 1/4" patent heel and a rubber sole. Too terrific for words. These early 1960s boots are by Tailored Woman, Fifth Avenue New York. Labeled a vintage size 7 1/2 M, they measure 9 3/4" toe to heel and 3" at their widest, and they almost fit me, so I would venture to say a modern 8 to 8 1/2 could wear them. Some age crinkling of the leather, which gives these awesome boots a subtle distressed look. $75
