1970s Gold Platform and Black Satin Sandal

We find it sad when women cow to the inflated male egos of their sig-oth and forego high heels so they don't tower over their guy.  It was probably most publicly noticeable with Nicole Kidman and the shrimp, but we've seen it over the years with other women we know.  Why do they do that?  We think women should applaud and flaunt their height, not resign themselves to a life in flats, or worse, invite dowager's hump by constantly hunching to seem shorter. Platforms are the perfect vehicle to liberate yourself and rise up, and these babies are the way to do it in supreme style.  A gleaming gold metal  1/2" platform and 4" heel  and vamp of narrow black satin straps cinched with a gold band.  Buckled ankle strap and footbed are also black satin.  Made by Babette, they are a size 6M in excellent condition, with minor wear to the insole.  $265
