The success of Charles Jourdan's shoes in the Seventies, was in part, owed to the advertising photography shot by Guy Boudin, whom the shoe company first commissioned in the 1960s. Bourdin's photos of Charles Jourdan's shoes were quite narrative in their context, and helped create the mystique of Jourdan's shoes - the arrival of the next Charles Jourdan print ad was as anxiously awaited as the shoes themselves. But the shoes were, and still are amazing. These russet orange mary janes have a chunky 3.25" faux stacked leather heel, and a 1/2" platform. $225
