1980s Rene Caovilla Gold Pump with Crystals

Rene Caovilla learned his trade from his father, Eduoardo, and it wasn't long before Rene Caovilla became synonymous with dazzling, bejeweled evening shoes.  In the decades following the Fifties, Rene Caovilla has had collaborations with couturiers Valentino, Christian Dior and Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Today, Caovilla's gorgeous creations are seen walking the red carpet on the feet of everyone from Jennifer Aniston to Carmen Electra. This is a Caovilla worthy of Cinderella. A gold leather pump, is accented down both sides of the shoe and over the vamp in a cut out, crystal encrusted undulating design. Some of the crystals are gone, but from five feet away, it's difficult to see, so unless your prince is going to get down on his knee to put this shoe on your foot, or someone is going to take a close-up of your foot,  no one is really going to notice. Made in Italy, they are an Italian size 36 or 6 with a 3.25" heel. $285
