1970s White Platform Peep Toe Sandal

The 'Forties revival of the 1970s brought back the platform shoe, the difference being of course, that the updated platform style went  sky high and over the top.  This white leather peep-toe slingback has a peep toe, a 5" heel and a nearly 1.5" platform. A strappy stitched vamp leaves just enough room at the toe for a couple of red lacquered tootsies to peek out.  Marked a size 6, measured along a flat surface they measure 8" toe to heel, 9 1/8" along the insole, and 3" wide across the sole at the ball of the foot. Made in Italy for Electa Co., they have been re-polished and are in excellent condition.  $165
