1980s Chanel Cashmere Twinset

Some time ago, we read an article  in one of our favorite magazines about one woman’s decade-long quest for the perfect twinset. Poor baby - she should have looked here. A cashmere cardigan and shell by Chanel. Need we say more? Oh, okay. The shell is a classic short-sleeved solid black crewneck with a single little gold toned Chanel button placket at the back of the neck. The cardigan is black, trimmed in beige down the front placket, sleeve cuff, and at the welt at the top of the hip pockets. Long enough in length so it effectively skims the posterior. And count 'em – 7 down the front, 3 at each cuff and one at each hip pocket - textured matte gold-toned Chanel buttons with that cute and unmistakable little interlocking double-C, so that anyone with half a brain can tell what you’re wearing, if that matters to you. Flat, unstretched measurements are:  Crewneck - Bust 36", waist 28", shoulder 16", sleeve 7.5", length 23". Cardigan - Bust 38", waist 34", hip 36", shoulder 16", sleeve 21", length 33".  Excellent condition. sold
