1960s Green Beaded and Sequined Wool Shell

Suzi Wong - worldly wise, but still naïve and innocent - that’s the spirit of this little emerald green wool knit shell with its rolled split mock-turtle neck. Hand stitched with sequins and embellished with faceted emerald green plastic beads set at the end of long squiggles of chartreuse beads, the design resembles the path of a raindrop down a pane of glass. Full length back zipper and is fully lined in green silk. Made in Hong Kong by Helen Wong (no relation to Suzi), and in excellent condition. Bust 36", waist 33", hip 38", shoulder 15", length 22". $85
