Diane Freis' background was rooted in art rather than fashion
design, and her dresses have a distinctive artistic look, and her
vintage pieces are appreciated by a loyal following. This ensemble, a silk crepe de chine
wildly printed primarily in orange, green and pink, but with a touch of
almost every other color in the crayola box in it. The top slips on over
the head, and it has a split neckline that is pleated into a vee.
The deep batwing sleeve tapers a split pleated cuff, and the waist
has a drawstring and casing. The skirt is a paneled circle skirt,
so it's plenty full, and has an elasticized waist. This will accommodate a modern 6/8 - we're showing it
displayed on a dress form with measurements of
37"-27"-37", length of the top is 24", length of the
skirt is 31". In excellent condition. $245
