1960s Malcolm Starr Green Palazzo Leg Jumpsuit

The Malcolm Starr label designed primarily evening wear in the 1960s, and the talent behind the label was Elinor Simmons.  Simmons' designs were feminine and pretty, and often marched to their own drummer as evening attire goes. This gorgeous jumpsuit she designed  is perfect for a formal occasion - in a grass green cotton sateen with a multi colored medallion print, the palazzo legs are so wide and full, they give the appearance of a skirt. The shoulder is deeply set in, almost halter-cut, and slightly gathered at the shoulder seam.. The bodice is smooth and slim to the waist with a zipper closure running bust to hip, tightly gathered through the waist seam, releasing to huge palazzo legs. Best on a modern size 4 or slender 6, the bust measures 33", waist 26", length shoulder to waist 16". waist to hem 42", inseam 29". Fully lined in green organdy and in excellent condition.  $295
