Yeah, the print looks like a plaid at thirty paces, but get up
close and you see that it's one of those Time Tunnel kind of optic
prints that generally made you nauseous when you were a kid, watching tv
seated on the floor 3 feet from the television. It's no wonder all the
baby boomers are getting cancer. The fabric is a silk/wool blend, in, as
we said, a black and white optic print. The line is simple, and the cut
pure Eighties, with a round neckline, a padded and slightly extended
dolman shoulder, tapered long sleeves that have zippers at the cuff.
There is a zipper closure at the back of the neck, and another on the
left waist. A narrow self piped treatment runs down the front and back
seams, and again along the shoulder seam, there is a short 2 1/2" peplum
that runs all the way around the hem. The bust is 36", waist
32", and hip 38", center back to end of sleeve is 33", length 25". Made
in Italy by Gianni Versace, in excellent condition. $85.
