1970s Yves Saint Laurent Gold Metallic Knit Top

No matter how accepted it becomes, we will never like the look of bra straps showing with a skimpy top.  If you've got boobs big enough (bestowed by God or man) to warrant support and you don't have a strapless Nu Bra, then wear something with a shoulder line that will cover your straps for crying out loud. The body is a nice flat rib knit in a rayon and metallic thread blend, with the binding at the top of the bust and skinny straps in a more glittery knit. We can't bear to think about the line of this Yves Saint Laurent  tank defiled by bra straps, so if you're bigger than a 34B, don't even look at it. The binding across the top of the bust is a static 32" - that's your determining measurement - any larger and you won't fit into it - the knit on the body is stretchier, 30" flat and unstretched, and we still recommend a smaller bust in this. Length along the side seam is 15" with strap about 7" long from the top of the shoulder to the binding at the top. Looks cute with the little gold wrap top we have listed elsewhere.
