1950s Orange Twill Pedal Pushers

Okay, let's get this straight.  The idea behind dressing stylishly is to dress to accentuate one's assets.  And the fact is that sometimes, the calf is NOT the ideal place to terminate a line (like, um, if your calves are a little 'muscular' shall we say?) so needless to say, a capri pant length may not be the most flattering cropped length for you. Enter the pedal pusher. A staple of the 1950s, they ended just above the ankle, and thus successfully show a bare leg to it's best advantage (no one has unattractive ankles).  These particular pedal pushers are done in a cotton twill, in an orangesicle shade that reminds us of a 50/50 ice cream bar, and believe us, these are every bit as delectable as that cool confection.  With a high waist, button tabs adjusting the side waist, and a back zipper closure, they are perfect with a little cropped midriff top.  Made by Paquette, they measure 26 - 28" at the waist, 38" at the hip, inseam 25", total length 37". Couple of faint age freckles, otherwise excellent condition.  $105
