1950s Beaded Wool Sweater and Pencil Skirt

When you see a get up like this, you don't have to wonder why 'sweater girls'  adorned the walls of healthy males everywhere from gas stations to G.I. barracks. In a fawn hued soft wool chenille knit, the sweater has a sweet little collar, faux pearl buttons, and a decollete hand embellished with beads, sequins, crystals and rhinestones. The matching ribbed skirt is slim, straight, curve-hugging and eye-popping. Wear them together, or team the sweater with a gray pencil skirt or blue denims. Knit in Hong Kong for Kim's by Kimberly Knits, the elastic in the waist of the skirt has been replaced, otherwise both pieces are in excellent condition.  The flat, unstretched measurement are:  Bust 35", waist 30", shoulder 17", sleeve center back to end of sleeve 27", length 20". Skirt waist 28", length 29".  Excellent condition.  $265
