1970s Brown Velveteen Maxi Skirt and Vest

In a plush brown velveteen with a nouveau floral print, we like this outfit worn without anything beneath the vest, okay, maybe a t-shirt, and paired with suede boots.  It's a hipper, tougher vibe that says, 'Yeah, I'm into it, I just ain't no sweet little hippy chick in a peasant skirt., sticking flowers behind my ear.' The vest has a five button closure with a bucked strap in the back to cinch the waist, and is lined in a matching cotton fabric the same as the velveteen.  The skirt is unlined and has a zippered closure in the back.Skirt waist is 30", hip 40", length 42". Vest measures 38" at the bust, 32" at the waist and 20" long. Made by Eva for Robert Janan, it also carries a Bonwit Teller label, and both pieces are in excellent condition. $105
