1970s David Hayes Red Silk Chiffon Top & Skirt with Scarf

Richly feminine, this ensemble is cast in a tomato red silk chiffon over a duchesse satin layer.  The top is straight and simply cut, with a graceful jewel neckline, and closes at the back neck with a zipper and button.  Full chiffon sleeves are left unlined and sheer, gathered into a buttoned cuff .  The skirt is gently gathered across the front, with hidden inseam pockets at either hip and a zipper and bar hook in the back. A detached chiffon scarf measuring 38" by 4" wide can be tied at the waist as a belt, or at the neck. The top has a bust, waist and hip measurement of 38", shoulder of 15", sleeve 25", length 24".  The skirt waist is 27", hip 40", length 23".  Made by David Hayes, all pieces are in excellent condition. $105
