1940s Pink Geometric Print Wool Challis Skirt

A very mod and very graphic geometric 'plaid' - or Tartan gone apeshit. Pink squares in carmine, deep rose, geranium and cotton candy - float over a grid of colors alternating from  forest green, sepia and sage with a touch of indigo along the hem and  black running throughout the pattern. In lightweight wool challis, the skirt is box pleated from the hip, with a zippered closure in back, and a waistband in a coordinating vertical stripe. Unlined, the waist measures 28", hip 40", length 28". Gee-orr-gee-us and in excellent condition.  sold
