1970s Emilio Pucci Cotton Skirt and Blouse

A Southwestern as only Emilio Pucci could do.  Bear paws and flowers abound in orange, brown and white on a raspberry pink background. The vibe is ethnic hippie, done in a sheer, gauzy cotton voile fabric.  The blouse has  three-quarter length dolman sleeves with a lightly padded shoulder, and an elasticized waist with a modified peplum.  A coordinating  border print runs along the hem, shoulder, collar and placket, with hidden snap closures in front. The long full skirt is pleated into a border printed waistband, and has three simple hook closures at the side. There is a a band of the border print that may has been fashioned into a belt worn over the blouse, sized for a 26" waist, but the hooks could be moved to eek out maybe another inch.  Both pieces are unlined, so this is perfect for even the steamiest of summer days, worn together or with white cotton separates.  Emilio Pucci for Saks Fifth Avenue, both pieces are in excellent condition.  Blouse measures bust up to 41", waist unstretched 24" up to 36", shoulder 17", sleeve 14", length 22".  Skirt waist 28", hip full, length 40". $415
