1970s Anne Klein Long Linen Skirt

The career of Anne Klein spanned three decades.  During the 1940s she was designing for Maurice Rentner, then she founded and designed for Jr. Sophisticates until the mid 1960s, then freelanced for Mallory Leathers. When she established Anne Klein and Co., she was in full stride, and she never missed a step.  This stunning skirt  is a good example of her innovative, yet consistently wearable designs.  A simple A-line style in a vivid tomato red-orange linen, it has an asymmetrical line with a full length black zipper closure left of center, that zips from the bottom up, so you can leave it zipped closed to the hem, or make a slit as high as you like. Contrasting black braid trims the leading edges of the zipper as well as the waist and hem.  The skirt is fully lined in tomato red acetate.  The no waistband style waist measures 26", hip 34", length 36".  Excellent condition.  $115
