1980s Charles Jourdan Bangle and Earrings

An empire built on footwear, Charles Jourdan designed luxury leather goods since the 1920s. By the late 1970s, the company had expanded to include accessories - creating a total 'Jourdan' designer look.  This bangle and earrings set is fashioned in a matte silver electroplate over brass, inset with black leather.  The bangle is asymmetrical, tapering from 3/4" at the wide end to 1/2" at the narrow end. Slightly elliptical in shape, it measures 2 7/8" across and 2 1/2" back to front. The matching earrings are a twisted feather drop style on a wire and measure about 2 3/4" long from top of the wire to tip, and 5/8" wide. Hallmarked 'Charles Jourdan, Made in Italy', the bangle shows wear of the electroplate on the interior, and is tweaked slightly out of 'round';  both pieces are scratched and the leather of both pieces is intact and in excellent condition. All told, we'd say the condition is very good. $95
