1950s Pink Shell Set

Pretty in pink - shell pink to be exact. Like wearing bits of Nature's confetti all over your body, this parure or set consists of a five-strand necklace of pink shell beads strung between tiny gold tube beads; an expandable bracelet peppered with pink shells attached with wire shanks; and clip earrings wired with shells and tube beads.  The necklace is 17" end to end, and lays almost 3"  deep.  The bracelet is about 3/4" wide and expands to a diameter of a little over 3".  The earrings are about 1" in diameter.  A rare set, the earrings are hallmarked Japan, and all pieces are in excellent condition. $155
