1940s 800 Silver Cameo Set

The idealized woman depicted in cameos were most often Grecian figures, and the ladies in this carved shell cameo set definitely have a Greco-Roman look to them. Set in 800 silver with a fringed wire border, the set consists of a 7.5" bracelet with 8 cameos measuring 3/4" by 5/8"; a pair of clip earrings with cameos measuring 5/8" by 1/2"; and a cameo pendant measuring 1" by 3/4" on a 19" filigree chain. The catch is stamped with 'G M' in a crescent, the other pieces are marked with what appears to be 'BG.800'.  There is some wear to the wire fringe on the bracelet, with approximately 1/4" of the fringe missing from the top of the 6th cameo, otherwise all pieces are in excellent condition.  $295
