1950s Ermine Collar |

In the 1950s, women decorated their sweater collars with everything from fur to rhinestones. And it's an idea that is a good one even to this day. Originally designed to lay over a crew neck sweater, it also looks great laying over the collarbone with a strapless gown. White ermine fur is accented with faux pearls and silver tube beads and sewn on a scalloped-edged ivory silk satin backing. Delicate little faux pearls rosebuds are strewn amid a field of faux pearls interspersed with rhinestones running in a zig zag pattern. Backed in ivory silk satin, which is discolored on the side you wouldn't be displaying, otherwise in excellent condition. 2.25" wide and fits a 14" neck. Excellent condition. $175
