1970s Givenchy Silver Tone G Choker

At the height of logo-manic era of the late Seventies, an initial more often than not indicated the name of the label designer - Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton - we all know them. But today, an initial can pretty much mean whatever the wearer decides it  to mean  - take Gwen and Gavin, for example - is it a double G or a key or both?  So although this choker is Givenchy's trademark G, you can pretty much name it what you like - Goddess, Gidgit, or even Goodhead if you're a Bond girl fan and so inclined. A poured glass capital G slider dangles from a heavy stylized cable link chain choker with a hook clasp stamped with the Givenchy double G insignia. Slider is also signed Givenchy. Honestly, the both the slider and the chain have wear to the silver tone, the chain exhibiting the worst of it,  thankfully it isn't hideously conspicuous because it's silver and not gold-toned.  The initial is just under 1" square, the chain is 16" in length.  $65
