The first time we can remember coveting a fur was in the early Eighties, and occurred ironically, the time we went on a church field trip to see the Glory of Christmas pageant at Dr. Schuller's Crystal Cathedral. Our minister showed up for the bus ride to Garden Grove with her full length red fox coat in tow. Now, THAT was a freakin' coat! Ever since, red fox has been something of a holy grail of furs to us. Suede dyed the color of Gulden's mustard, the coat is trimmed at the collar and cuff with fluffy fox, and the grey and white color variation in the fur really complements the coat. The coat is straight cut with a jewel or round collar, and is single breasted with a second decorative button perched beside the real one.Three quarter length sleeves and slanted pockets at either hip. There are a few scattered spots about 4-5" from the hem, the worst of which is hidden beneath the overlap when the coat is buttoned up. Trust us, with that collar, all eyes are going to be on your face, not your knees. Fully lined in gold satin, it carries a Marsi's label and is in otherwise excellent condition. sold
