Vintage White Lawn Petticoat/Crinoline

Gossamer thin white linen lawn or organdy is stitched to a layer of white tulle, and delicately tucked into a 3" wide waistband with 19"  fine linen ties at either end. With no closures, the garment wraps and ties at the waist.  The style accommodates a broad range of waist/ hip sizes - closing with a split in the back for the largest waist measurement and overlapping upon itself for a smaller one. Adding body without bulk, it was most likely an under layer for a wedding gown. The  waist band measures 37" end to end, so we're thinking a the maximum waist is about 36".  The length is 42".  With light freckles on one of the ties, the condition is otherwise excellent.  $140
