1940s Ingber Persian Print Handbag

A Persian-inspired print in rich shades of ruby, sapphire, saffron and jade, this bag offers just the right shot of color without going over board.  A rayon or lightweight wool crepe fabric on a gold toned frame, it has twist knob closure at the top, and  a tapered 7" strap attached to the body with rings.  The interior is lined in a pale peach satin, with one slip pocket and one zippered pocket.  The underside of the strap is also faced in peach satin.  Made by Ingber, the bag has some light soil/stains on the exterior, which tend to get lost in the print, soiling on the satin of the strap and a couple of small specks on the lining - sounds worse than it appears. Measures 11" wide at the widest by 8.5" high.  $90
