1940s Morris Moskowitz Round Black Wool Bag |

With a unique semi-circular shape, this bag has
a great line and style that definitely ain’t your grandma’s old wool
handbag. An oversized gold toned twist knob closure are tipped with
teardrop shaped lucite ornaments. Bag opens to
reveal a black satin interior with a full length slip pocket on one
side, and two small slips and one zippered pocket. It also still has the
tiny satin coin purse attached to it's chain. The wool strap is threaded
through a metal link, and is anchored back on itself to form little
'ears'. Bag is 11.5” wide at it's widest, and 10” high with an 8” drop from the strap, so it tucks right under the
arm. Made by Morris Moskowitz, the nap of the wool is showing it's age -
particularly on the strap, and the gold toned knobs are tarnished, so
we're pricing it accordingly. Still an amazing looking bag with lots of
life left for someone who will appreciate this slightly aged beauty.
$125 .
