1940s Brown Corde Cootie Catcher Pouch Wrist Bag

The unusual shape of this Corde bag reminds of us of the paper cootie catchers we girls used to make in Jr. high school to humiliate one another with the names of the boys we were destined to marry. At any rate, the pouch shape is difficult to describe, so forgive us for not even trying. Suffice to say, it's almost a work of art. In brown Corde, the bag opens from at the top from side to side with a zipper, and is suspended by a wrist strap. The bag is about 9" wide at its widest, 5" high, with a 5" long strap. In excellent, if not mint condition - it appears to never have been carried.  $75
