1950s Red Irish Wool Handbag

Red has become pretty much accepted as a neutral color - and there is nothing like a shot of red to really make an outfit pop.  In a brilliant cherry red, this wool bag is stunning paired with a suit or coat in pale pink or olive and just the thing to keep you from reaching for the same-old-boring taupe or brown. Woven wool twill on a shiny gold toned frame, the interior is lined n buff suede, with two slip and one zippered pockets.  Made by the Irish Cottage Industries in Dublin, Ireland, the bag measures 12" wide, 8.25" high, 2" deep, with double handles having about a 6" drop to the top of the bag. Excellent, apparently uncarried condition. sold
