1970s Susan Gail Black Snake Skin Shoulder Bag

Take a glossy black snake skin pouch, attach it to a  shiny gold toned frame accented with more black snake, then suspend it from a single skinny black snake skin strap, and you've got yourself one fabulous little evening bag. Go one step farther, and design the bag so that the shoulder straps tucks inconspicuously into the bag and voilá - a gorgeous clutch and Madame Leiber ain't got nothin' on you. The frame is double hinged so it opens nice and wide.  Lined in black ultrasuede, the bag measures 11" wide and 7" high, with a drop on the strap of just under 11", so it tucks nicely under the arm. Made in Spain for Susan Gail, and in excellent condition with very minor wear of the hardware. $220
