1950s Dofan Navy Leather Handbag

Though the profile of this bag is discrete and tasteful, narrow straps that appear to weave through a pair of square grommets on the front of the bag give it visual verve and keep it from coming off like just another (yawn) boring navy bag. Rigid frame with a sculpted gold toned snap closure on the top, the bag is vinyl lined with an interior zippered pocket and a slip pocket. Measures  8.5" wide by 8" high, 2" deep.  Bag drops 6.5" from a pair of  straps. Made in France by Dofan, it is in excellent condition. $210
