The long days of Summer may be growing shorter, but in Southern California, Summer is pretty much a state of mind that lasts all year long, and everyone dresses accordingly. This bag would be right at home any time except maybe during the dead of Winter, and the neutral color makes it a great bag to carry through at least three quarters of the year. Buff colored raffia is fashioned into a nifty little wedge shaped handbag with rigid raffia covered pinch clasp frame between an outer woven bag. In effect, you have a three compartment bag, the center compartment being the one that closes. The raffia is woven in a deco-shell pattern, with a woven raffia under the arm length double strap, and is lined in a buff colored faille. Measures 11" long by 7.5" high and 4" deep with a drop of 6.5" on the straps. Made in Japan by Marchionesse for R.H. Macy, it is in excellent condition. $140
