Another great topper for a summer garden party from Mr. John -
the style of this one is Edwardian revival, and the print is gorgeous -
screened silk in a soft blend of oranges and browns and yellows, with a
touch of black and pink. The crown is rimmed with a wide orange
grosgrain ribbon, held to the hat with an oversized covered button. The
entire hat is trapunto stitched for structure - a nice effect. The crown
is lined in black acetate. Bearing a Mr. John Jr. label, it is in
excellent condition, aside from a small spot on the edge of the
grosgrain ribbon. Brim is 4" deep at the front, 2 1/2" at the rear, the
crown stands 4 3/4" high, circumference is 21". $175
