1960s Autumn Haze Mink Stole |
Up until about the time the anti-establishment movement took hold in the late 'Sixties, people dressed up - whether for a night on the town or cocktails at the neighbor's house. Evening wraps were essential and mink filled the bill. Less ostentatious and more affordable than a full length coat, a mink stole is luxurious and practical. This autumn haze mink stole has a shawl collar. Let a little luxury into your life, this baby will keep you toasty at the opera or the football game, and go proudly to either one. Lined in taupe silk it measures 17" deep from base of neck to bottom at the center back, and 23" from shoulder to hem in front.. Circa mid 1960s, it has the former owner's initials embroidered on the lining and carries a label from Denigayle Furs at the historic Hotel del Coronado. Excellent condition. All our vintage furs have been professionally cleaned and glazed. $225
