1970s Victor Costa Red Striped Sundress

Who says candy canes are just for Christmas time?    You'll inspire the same notion of sweetness though, both oral and otherwise, in this fabulously Summer-spirited little dress in a big and bold red and white striped cotton. Narrow and wide red stripes run against a white background, with bands of the narrow stripes running horizontally across the top of the bust, the hem of the peplum and the skirt as well as forming the shoulder straps. The skirt is full and flouncy with a peplum hip that is a perfect foil for the tight fitting corset style boned bodice. The bodice zips closed in back  and the total effect is that of a cute little camisole over a full skirt. Fully lined, it was made by Victor Costa and  also bears a Neiman-Marcus label. Bust measures 30", waist 24", length shoulder to hem is 47". Excellent condition.$175
