1950s Blue Linen Dress with Rhinestones |

You probably associate rhinestones with glitzy special occasion dresses. But take a linen dress whose cut is great in it's own right, add a smattering of prong-set rhinestones all over it, and your little day dress becomes sublime, not showy. Utterly ladylike and feminine, it's as perfect on a dinner date as it is at a Spring wedding. Supple linen in a dreamy sky blue, the dress has a short, dolman sleeve, and a u-shaped neckline. The bodice is gently tucked at the waist seam, and the skirt is slim and straight. Back zipper closure with a dainty little bow covering a snap at the base of the neck. Bust measures 38", waist 31", hip 37", sleeve (center back to end of sleeve) 15.5", length 44".Bearing a David Levine label, there is a very, very faint discoloration at the waist seam in front, and one stiff spot 3" above the back waist seam on the right. About a modern size 8. $145
