1970s Lacoste Tennis Dress

Yes, that little alligator was around long before Preppies re-discovered it in the Eighties. Rene Lacoste founded the label in the Twenties, and the sporty look he pioneered has remained popular to this day. This sleeveless white poly pique tennis dress is trimmed in navy blue and red, with a long zippered front. We're naturally reminded of a young Chrissie Evert on the court, but this dress would look equally cute with white leather thong sandals off the clay. Excellent condition.  Bust and hip measure 34", shoulder 14",  length 33". $85
